Gary Brazina, MD, FACS

Dr. Brazina, “The Jock Doc,” specializes in arthoscopic surgery, PRP, and stem cell non-surgical treatment of joints and sports medicine.  He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery; the American College of Surgeons; has served as a Qualified Medical Examiner and is available as Agreed Medical Examiner and Independent Medical Examiner. With over 25 years of surgical experience, Dr. Brazina has treated some of the top athletes in the nation.

Dr. Brazina has extensive experience in all Medical-Legal aspects of Orthopedic Surgery, including personal injury, IME examinations, and workers compensation.  He is adept at and lectured on utilizing AMA 5th edition guidelines.  He has offices in West Los Angeles and Encino, CA.

Dr. Brazina has served as the team physician to the Los Angeles Heat football team, an Officiall Medical Service Provider to the US Olympic Committee, Red Bull Athletes, and team physician for the LA Blades.  He has served as a medical consultant to Cirque du Soliel “Kooza” and “Ova,” and Dancing with the Stars.  He has served as a second opinion physician for the NFL Players Association.  He has served on the Board of Governors for the Academy of BodyBuilders. 

Dr. Brazina has been named as a Super Doctor in LA Magazine and featured in Leading Physicians of the World.  He writes and lectures extensively both professionally and for the lay public.  He has served on the editorial board for Women’s Fitness Magazine.  He has been featured in articles published in Redbook, Shape, Sports Illustrated, and Elle magazines.  He has appeared regularly on CNN, LA Today, and other TV shows.
