Mindy Drake received her chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Integrative Physiology at The University of Iowa, where she also completed post-graduate research on oxidative stress in aging, and post-doctoral research on the pathways of neurodegeneration in Huntington’s Disease.
Clinically, she focuses on the natural care and rehabilitation of the spine, with an emphasis on pain relief and prevention. She has post-graduate training in the assessment and care of the cervical spine (the neck), and is proficient in Blair, QSM3 and PNT adjusting methods.She also employs the “Palmer Package” of techniques used to address the entire spine. She uses a combination of conservative spinal adjusting methods, muscle reflex release techniques and rehabilitation protocols best suited to address the individual needs of the patient.
Her therapeutic proficiencies include Laser therapy, VAX-D, The McKenzie Method, Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment (EPAT), Hako-Med, Vision Coach for neurological rehabilitation, and KoreBalance for vestibular training and fall prevention. Osteoporosis prevention and treatment is also a program she is directing utilizing scientifically-based technologies called bioDensity, Power Plate, and the KoreBalance equipment combined with dietary recommendations and patient education for natural Regenerative Orthopedics.
